Sidify's dot com domain is registered to HICHINA ZHICHENG TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, which has numerous scam reports online as well: Rather "Sidify music converter for Spotify is used to download and convert Spotify songs or playlist to MP3, AAC, FLAC or WAV format." They never claim to download songs directly from Spotify and strip their DRM. Note Sidify's careful wording in their FAQ as well. You would be paying for a glorified UI that downloads songs from Deezer and other websites/source if you decide to spend $39.95. A popular one is Allavsoft which also claims to "download Spotify music files as MP3" yet use the same Deezer api exploit to download mp3s (as discovered by a redditor). There are many spotify downloader paid applications that state to be able to do it, when in fact they rip music from other sources.
